The useful bits.
How much to pour, where to keep it, when it ships, and what to do if you are buying for a café or store.

Read before emailing, or email anyway.
One 50 ml serve a day. Neat as a shot, or diluted in hot or cold water. When you're run-down, take it twice. A 500 ml bottle holds ten serves and makes at least three litres of drink.
Not until it is opened. Keep an unopened bottle in the pantry; once it is open, refrigerate it and use it within two months. It separates a little between pours; that is the fresh juice deposits, so give it a good shake before serving.
Yes. The preservative-free six pack is the same recipe without the yeast stabiliser. It has to be refrigerated from the day it arrives and used within a month of opening, which is why it is sold by the case rather than as a single bottle.
We add a yeast stabiliser, potassium sorbate, which is a chemical salt widely used throughout the food and beverage sectors.
Potassium sorbate is broken down in the gut into potassium (available then as nutrient) and sorbic acid, which is then broken down via the same metabolic pathway the body uses to break down dietary fatty acids into carbon dioxide and water, so it is not an additive most people should be too concerned about.
It is a food, not a supplement, and plenty of families dilute it for children as a cordial. Use a smaller serve. If your child is on medication or you have any doubt, ask your GP or pharmacist first, as we are not able to give medical advice.
Orders are packed within two business days and sent by courier, usually one to two days to the North Island and two to three to the South Island. Shipping is free over $300; below that it is calculated at checkout from the weight and where it is going.
Yes, more than 200 stores stock it. Send a wholesale enquiry and Cath will come back to you with trade pricing, case sizes and point-of-sale material.
Turbo Tonics’ beautiful golden colour comes from turmeric - dazzling to look at, but it does like to stick around! After years of getting messy with this awesome ingredient, and regularly turning bright yellow in the process, we have the answers if you have a spill.
Benchtops – just use a spot of cream cleanser, such as Ecostore or Jif, a wee baking soda bomb, or bleach (but don’t forget to neutralise afterwards with a little vinegar, especially if you have a septic tank).
Clothing/fabric – If it can be soaked, oxygen-based stain removers are your friend, eg, Ecostore Laundry Soaker & Stain Remover or Frend Oxy Power.
Some research that suggests turmeric has blood thinning/anticoagulant properties and so there may be concerns if you have a condition whereby this could put you at risk. If you are taking anticoagulant or antiplatelet medications, such as aspirin, clopidogrel (Plavix), dalteparin (Fragmin), enoxaparin (Lovenox), heparin, ticlopidine (Ticlid), and warfarin (Coumadin), be sure to check with your doctor.
