Active curcuminoids in each 50 ml serve of the concentrate
Welcome to the engine room.
Turbo Tonic is hand-made in the heart of Matakana, north of Auckland. It is designed to turbo charge your health and strengthen your wellbeing, and it is deliberately not another polite little wellness drink.
you cannot drink it without smiling

Cath Lewis runs the press.
BSc Human Nutrition and Biochemistry, and the person whose name sits behind every batch. Cath and her small team press, blend and bottle by hand in Matakana, which is the literal kind of small business: the recipe, the produce and the finished bottle never travel far from the person responsible for them.
The brief she set herself was awkward on purpose. Make fresh turmeric easy enough to take every day. Keep it bright enough to enjoy. And concentrate it hard enough that nobody is paying to freight water around New Zealand.
Smart women. Serious ingredients. No mucking about with the recipe.
We asked Callaghan Innovation to check our numbers.
Rather than estimate the strength of the blend, Turbo Tonic had the active curcuminoids in the fresh root juice, and in the powder milled from the pulp left over after juicing, verified by New Zealand's innovation agency.
Active curcuminoids in 2 teaspoons of BOOST or LATTE powder
Fresh Fijian turmeric root pressed into every 500 ml bottle
Of the bottle is cold-pressed fresh turmeric juice
Four steps, none of them shortcuts.
The root arrives whole
Fresh Fijian turmeric, fresh ginger and New Zealand limes come in as produce, not as powder in a drum. Each 500 ml bottle takes the juice of about 220 grams of turmeric root.
It gets cold-pressed
Turmeric and ginger go through the press together so the juice stays bright. Nothing is heated, and nothing is reconstituted from a dried extract.
Honey, lime and pepper go in
Raw New Zealand native bush honey for body, NZ-grown lime juice for the edge, and black pepper ground straight into the blend.
It is bottled undiluted
No water is added at our end. That is what makes it a concentrate, and why one 500 ml bottle makes at least three litres.
You can add the water.
Our tonics have an unrivalled intensity because they are not diluted. You choose the final drink: a 50 ml shot, hot water like a tea, cold water, soda or ice. One 500 ml bottle makes at least three litres.
There is no powdered turmeric extract here pretending to be fresh juice. The turmeric and ginger are pressed, the lime brings the edge, and raw New Zealand bush honey rounds the blend.
